🇺🇸 Customs information for U.S. orders 🇺🇸

All orders shipped to the United States go through customs clearance.

This means that your package may be subject to import fees or duties, which are charged directly by U.S. Customs before delivery.

Below is an estimated breakdown to help you understand potential costs — these include import duty (6–8 %), administrative fees, and carrier handling charges (FedEx, UPS, or USPS).

✨ In short

  • Customs fees are usually around 8–12 % of your order value.

  • These are billed directly by the courier before delivery.

  • If you prefer to cancel your order after being informed of the exact amount, just let me know — no problem 💌

📦 Customs process and delivery

Once your package arrives in the U.S., the shipping company (FedEx, UPS, or USPS) will contact you by email or phone to arrange payment of the import fees.
Please keep an eye on your inbox or voicemail — this step is necessary for your order to clear customs and continue its journey to you.

Please note that some carriers in the United States may advance customs and import fees in order to speed up the clearance process. If this happens and the carrier later invoices the exporter, JejeThings will request reimbursement from the customer. By placing an order, you agree to cover any customs, import or handling fees associated with your shipment, whether charged at delivery or invoiced afterwards by the carrier.

If customs fees are not paid and the package is returned to Spain, I’m afraid the order amount cannot be refunded, as international return shipping costs are not covered.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to these conditions regarding customs procedures and potential import fees. 🌸
