One day, I sat down to think about how to make a napkin holder where the shape wasn’t determined by its use. Obviously, the shape is important, but when I think of a napkin holder, the same thing always comes to mind, and I believe it does for you too. I know I’m not inventing anything new, but I find the result of those days of thinking to be fun.
Handmade ceramic napkin holder, made at my tiny studio-home in Barcelona, from start to finish, using earthenware chamotte clay, engobes and lead-free glazes. That is why it is suitable for food use. The grid is made of ceramic pencil
it’s not only to be used functionally but also to be enjoyed.
