an excuse to explore new forms and ways of working. Some pieces were made on the wheel, while others were entirely hand-built, so each one came with a different set of challenges.
This tulip was made on the wheel, building the final piece from different individual parts.
The grid also leaves the piece feeling slightly unfinished, almost like a work in progress. It gives you enough information to imagine what could happen next: different colours, different combinations, different versions of the same form.
